We use cookies. Here is exactly what they do and why.

To operate vectexo.company with the precision we promise, our site places small data files called cookies on your device. This is standard practice for professional web operations. We do not use them to track you across the web, but to understand how our specific design decisions perform and to keep our client project portals secure.

Below, we break down the specific categories of cookies in use, the data they handle, and how you can manage your preferences. Transparency is part of our design process.

Cookie Classification

Standard Category

Strictly Necessary

These cookies are essential for you to browse the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas, client portals, and cookie consent settings. Without these, the services you have asked for cannot be provided.

  • Session Management
  • Security Tokens

Analytics & Performance

We only enable these if you opt-in. They help us understand how visitors interact with vectexo.company by collecting anonymized data. This informs our design iterations and ensures our site architecture remains efficient.

  • Page Load Speed
  • Navigation Flow

Functional (Inactive)

These allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your username, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features.

Currently disabled. We prioritize privacy over personalization on informational pages.

Targeting/Marketing

These track your browsing habits to enable advertising delivery. vectexo does not use these. We do not sell ad space or participate in behavioral tracking networks.

Our Approach to Data

Design Constraint

The "Local Host" Principle

Our servers are configured to store cookie data locally where possible. For our clients in Colombia and the region, this reduces latency and ensures that no unnecessary data crosses international borders. It is a technical choice that aligns with our operational ethics.

In the context of web design, cookies are tools for friction reduction. When we design a client portal or a high-conversion landing page, we use session cookies to ensure a user doesn't get logged out prematurely. That is the extent of it.

We believe that consent should be granular, not binary. The global injector on this site (handled by our infrastructure, not visible in this code) respects the "Do Not Track" header and provides a persistent mechanism to revoke access. We do not hide essential cookies behind complex legal jargon; if it is strictly necessary for the site to function, we state it clearly.

Common Failure Modes

Avoid these technical oversights that compromise user trust and site performance.

01

Cookie Stuffing

Affiliates dropping cookies without user action. This is a violation of trust and often a breach of terms.

02

Indefinite Expiry

Setting session cookies to expire in 10 years. It creates "zombie data" and violates GDPR principles.

03

Third-Party Leaks

Loading scripts from unverified domains. We audit every request to ensure no external trackers are piggybacking.

04

Dark Patterns

Making "Reject All" harder to find than "Accept All." We position consent toggles with equal visibility.

Questions for Your Agency

Retention Period?
Ask how long data is stored. If they don't know, that is a red flag.
Sub-processors?
Which third parties receive cookie data? We use only essential infrastructure providers.
Server Location?
Is the data hosted in your region? We prioritize local hosting for our Colombian clients.
Consent Audit?
Can they prove consent was given? We maintain logs for essential session validation only.
Cross-Border?
Does data leave the EU or Colombia? We minimize cross-border transfers for compliance.
Breach Protocol?
What happens if a cookie is compromised? We use HttpOnly flags to mitigate XSS attacks.
